Mealworm Shipping and Ice Packs
For a minimal fee, we offer Ice Packs to help keep products, like live mealworms and yogurt drops, cool during transit. Ice packs increases the chance for live animal arrival. Carrier trucks become very hot in the spring and summer months and are subject to harmful conditions for live mealworms. If ordering May-September (or other times of the year if your location is hot), add 1-2 ice packs to your order to help keep the worms alive during transit. Adding ice packs to your order will help keep the shipment cool for the first 6-12 hours of transit, increasing the chance for live arrival. We suggest adding at least 1 icepack per 5000 mealworms…more if you are in an extremely hot area
- LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE: Live mealworm are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. - Mealworms must be shipped to a location where they can be received and cared-for upon delivery. We do not guarantee live delivery if mealworms are left outside or delivered to a street mail box.
- Orders shipped by Next Day Service with morning delivery that are received upon delivery are warranted under our guarantee.
